Before School

The Before School Program operates at Arcata Elementary every school day from 7:00 am to 8:10 when the classrooms open.  Students attending SBMS are welcome to attend and take a short bus ride to school. While not a drop-in program, we do have flexible scheduling and can likely accommodate your family’s needs.

Due to the early nature of the program, we offer a relaxed time where children can hang out, play games, power nap (not uncommon), or participate in self-directed activities.  The students may bring breakfast to eat if they wish or they can participate in the school sponsored breakfast.
